Panorama

Panorama, Cityplaza, Tai Koo Shing, Hong Kong | year: 2020 | status: concept | type: commercial | team: Annette Chu, Gabriel Lee & Morty Tsui

A panorama is typically defined as a long, wide view of a specific scenery. The views surrounding CP4 exhibit great diversity: on one side, there is a view overlooking the sea and the city of Kowloon Bay; on another side, there is a close view of the Taikoo Shing residential building; and on yet another side, there is a view that faces CP3 along with its adjacent park and road.

To redefine the concept of a panorama from a static image to a dynamic experience, the visual perception along the perimeter of CP4 transitions from a beautiful sea view to a mirage-like city view. This transformation is achieved by obscuring and repositioning reflections and reality, ultimately culminating in a captivating sky view.
